Your impact
- Mentor teammates; model safety, organization, and quality practices.
- Clean and inspect mill stands/guides returning from the mill floor.
- Use blueprint reading to repair mill stands and guiding equipment.
- Run robotics to change mill stand rolls; set up stands for upcoming products.
- Assemble and prepare guides to meet scheduled rollings.
- Create and manage work orders in QMOS; print documentation; adapt stand build-ups per QMOS scheduling.
- Order parts and maintain minimum spare inventory for guides/stands in SAP.
- Partner with Roll Turners to prioritize roll redressing based on pass availability and rolling cycle.
- Support changeovers and troubleshoot in-service stands and guides on the mill.
- Coordinate passes and stand usage with Roll Turners and the Roll Shop Routine Facilitator.
What helps you succeed
- Leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Basic proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
