Properly remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, overhead cranes, hand, and power toolsPossess specific fundamental knowledge of bearings, power transmission equipment, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, welding principles, rigging, overhead cranes, gearboxes, and mobile equipment operationPrepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsWork safely to prevent on the job injuries by following safety rules and regulations at all times including proper wearing of company PPEWhat You'll NeedAbility to stand, walk, bend, and work in heights for extended periods of time in extreme temperaturesAbility to utilize precision measurement instrumentsAbility to work rotating shifts which include weekends and holidaysExperience with welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment maintenance preferredMinimum 1 year field experience in either heavy industrial operations and/or manufacturing environment preferredMinimum 1 year of experience with welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment maintenance preferredMinimum 3 years of field experience in either heavy industrial operations and/or manufacturing environment strongly preferredYour EducationHigh School Diploma or GED requiredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
