Responsibilities
- Operate heavy construction machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and dump trucks to perform earthmoving, grading, lifting, and material transportation tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
- Follow all safety procedures and occupational safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members.
- Assist with site preparation activities including leveling, trenching, and debris removal while adhering to project specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate the movement of construction materials and machinery across the site.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as bulldozers (dozers), loaders, backhoes, excavators, and dump trucks in a construction setting.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Knowledge of hydraulics systems, mechanical troubleshooting, and routine equipment maintenance procedures.
- Valid driver’s license
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols including PPE use and hazard awareness.
- Understanding of occupational safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and efficiency.
