Position Overview:
The Studio Manager is responsible for the overall success of the studio, overseeing daily operations, sales performance, staff leadership, and member experience. This role is ideal for a motivated, people-focused leader with a strong background in sales, customer service, and team management within a boutique fitness or hospitality environment.
The Studio Manager works closely with ownership and regional leadership to drive revenue growth, maintain operational excellence, and create an inclusive, high-energy studio culture aligned with the Club Pilates brand.
Job Duties
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive membership sales, services, and retail performance
- Manage, track, and present KPIs to owners/regional leadership
- Identify/execute local marketing initiatives, events, and partnerships
- Lead intro classes to convert prospects into members, including group presentations
Studio Operations
- Oversee daily studio operations to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Manage class schedules, instructor coverage, and front desk staffing
- Ensure compliance with Club Pilates brand standards, policies, and procedures
- Manage studio systems including ClubReady, scheduling, and reporting
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, schedule, and manage front desk staff and instructors
- Lead by example with professionalism, accountability, and positivity
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and results-driven studio culture
Member Experience & Retention
- Deliver an exceptional member experience from first visit through long-term membership
- Handle member concerns, feedback, and escalations with care and professionalism
- Implement retention strategies to reduce cancellations and increase engagement
- Build strong relationships with members and the local community
Requirements
Qualifications
- 2 years of management experience in boutique fitness, sales, hospitality, or retail
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to motivate, coach, and manage a large team
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for health and wellness
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Pilates, fitness, or wellness environments
- Familiarity with ClubReady or similar CRM/scheduling platforms
- Local marketing or community outreach experience
