Dining Room Manager
Confidential Private Club – Metro Detroit
Salary: $65,000-$75,000 annually
A well-established private club in the Metro Detroit area is seeking an experienced Dining Room Manager to oversee daily front-of-house operations and deliver an exceptional member dining experience.
The successful candidate will be an energetic and hands-on leader who is passionate about hospitality, service excellence, and developing a high-performing team. Fine dining experience is required, and private club experience is strongly preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily dining room operations and service execution.
- Lead, coach, and mentor front-of-house staff while maintaining high service standards.
- Conduct daily staff lineups and ensure proper communication before each shift.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team to provide seamless service.
- Create staff schedules while managing labor costs and productivity.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, and exceptional member service.
- Resolve member concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist with private events, club functions, and special dining experiences.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to club standards throughout all dining areas.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years of management experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality.
- Private club experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and elevated service standards.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
