We are looking for a Wash Aisle Sling Operator Team Member to safely and efficiently ensure that all soil and garments are removed from soil line and properly weighed. Identify and staged in proper overhead line. Replace slings on soil line as needed. This position plays a critical role in maintaining production flow, quality standards, and compliance with MIOSHA safety regulations.

We are looking for a Wash Aisle Sling Operator Team Member to safely and efficiently ensure that all soil and garments are removed from soil line and properly weighed. Identify and staged in proper overhead line. Replace slings on soil line as needed. This position plays a critical role in maintaining production flow, quality standards, and compliance with MIOSHA safety regulations.
What You’ll Do
- Remove full soil slings from the soil line, replace with empty sling.
- Weigh full sling and record in log.
- Properly identify sling with product name and number.
- Hoist full sling for staging on overhead rails.
- Stage and categorize full soil slings using the overhead rails computer system.
- Place empty sling in empty frame.
- Stage empty slings for reuse.
- Keep area clear of debris to prevent slips, trips, and falls.
- Perform all other tasks as required by supervisor.
- Hot and humid during summer months
- Cooler during winter months
- Exposure to steam, moisture, noise, and moving equipment
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Push/pull industrial carts weighing 800 lbs
- Lift 50–75 lbs occasionally
- Lift 20–30 lbs repetitively
- Stand for extended periods
- Accurately identify colors
- Ability to read, write, and count in English
- Strong attention to detail

- Previous production or industrial experience preferred (but not required — we will train!)
