Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated HR Shared Services Advisor (Locals Only) to join our vibrant human resources team. Duties
- Provide comprehensive HR support to employees and managers on policies, procedures, and employment-related inquiries, ensuring clarity and consistency.
- Manage human capital management processes including onboarding, employee orientation, performance management, and employee evaluation to promote workforce development.
- Oversee benefits administration activities such as enrollment, changes, and inquiries, utilizing HRIS systems like Workday or SAP SuccessFactors to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate talent acquisition efforts by supporting recruiting activities, managing ATS platforms like iCIMS or Taleo, and facilitating interview scheduling.
- Assist with employee relations issues by mediating conflicts, conducting investigations, and ensuring adherence to employment law and OSHA regulations.
- Support change management initiatives by communicating organizational changes effectively and assisting in transition planning.
- Maintain accurate data entry and recordkeeping for all HR transactions including workers' compensation claims, contracts, payroll processing via systems like ADP or Paychex, and data collection efforts.
Skills
- Deep understanding of human resources management principles including talent management, succession planning, affirmative action planning, and organization design.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms such as Oracle HCM, UltiPro, PeopleSoft, or Ceridian to manage workforce data efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of employment law (including FMLA), labor law, OSHA standards, and workers' compensation procedures to ensure compliance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly across diverse audiences.
- Proven project management skills with experience in training & development programs and strategic planning initiatives.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity while demonstrating conflict management skills when resolving employee issues.
- Familiarity with social media management for employer branding purposes and HR sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
