About the Role:
Clovis Steel is seeking a Bilingual, motivated and detail-oriented Sales & Merchandising Representative to join our team. In this role, you’ll work directly with customers to understand their project needs, recommend the right materials, and provide solutions that support their goals. You’ll also coordinate with vendors, manage product orders, and assist with merchandising to keep our showroom organized and inviting.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers to understand project needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Assist with merchandising and maintaining product displays in the showroom.
- Coordinate and place orders with multiple vendors to ensure timely product delivery.
- Provide customers with accurate information about materials, services, and brands while continuously expanding your product knowledge.
- Negotiate pricing and close sales to meet company goals while meeting customer needs.
- Support daily operations to streamline sales and ordering processes.
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) required or strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in sales, merchandising, or a related customer service role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing customer needs and priorities.
- Basic computer skills for order entry, communication, and vendor coordination.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
