Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Yard Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our operations within the distribution center. This position involves various tasks related to materials handling, ensuring that the yard is organized and that products are moved safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate various equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials within the yard.
• Perform heavy lifting and assist with loading and unloading shipments.
• Ability to track inventory and manage stock levels accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
• Assist in order picking processes to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating forklifts, and other warehouse equipment.
• Experience with inventory management.
• Strong ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job.
• Excellent teamwork skills and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
