Job Title: Emerging Agent-In-Charge (AIC)
Location: South Beloit, IL
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $19.00 – $22.49 per hour

Position Overview

CloudHaven Dispensary is seeking a driven and dependable individual to join our leadership development track as an Agent-In-Charge. This role is designed for candidates prepared to step into supervisory responsibilities within a highly regulated, fast-paced cannabis retail environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership potential, a commitment to regulatory compliance, and a strong customer service orientation. This is a hands-on opportunity to build management skills while supporting front-of-house and back-of-house operations under the guidance of experienced AICs and senior management.

Candidates must be 21 years or older and ready to support a positive and productive team environment focused on education, compliance, and customer care. Prior AIC Experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Support

• Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members in coordination with management and existing AICs.
• Reinforce compliance procedures and company expectations through consistent coaching and documentation.
• Promote teamwork, employee morale, and high standards of professionalism during every shift.

Operational Oversight

• Monitor dispensary floor operations to ensure customer needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
• Approve discounts, resolve point-of-sale discrepancies, and oversee adherence to customer service standards.
• Support organization of the vault and conduct daily inventory counts; identify and escalate discrepancies as needed.
• Oversee timely labeling, stocking, and sale of product in compliance with IDFPR rules.
• Manage promotional signage in compliance with State marketing guidelines.

Compliance & Inventory

• Ensure all staff are in good standing with active agent badges and timely renewal submissions.
• Monitor accessory levels and product placement for promotional readiness.
• Facilitate the proper handling, documentation, and destruction of expired or damaged product.
• Maintain product intake logs and ensure new deliveries are processed and available for sale within 24 hours.

Customer Engagement & Brand Presence

• Serve as a knowledgeable resource on cannabis products, consumption methods, and dosage recommendations.
• Educate customers on the distinctions between product types and expected effects based on individual preferences.
• Encourage customer satisfaction by addressing concerns with professionalism and discretion.
• Participate in the execution of review and reputation management strategies on platforms such as Google, Yelp, and Leafly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of retail or customer-facing experience preferred; cannabis experience a plus.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated reliability, trustworthiness, and initiative.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in real-time.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass all background checks required by the State of Illinois.

Schedule & Availability

• Must be available to work day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
• Standard schedule is 8-hour shifts, with rotating supervisory coverage.
