We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive AP/AR Clerk / Staff Accountant to support our Finance, IT, and Operations teams. This role offers significant opportunities for growth and career advancement within a fast-growing public company.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Controller, the Accounts Payable & Receivable Clerk will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day financial and operational functions of the company. You’ll collaborate with teams across the globe and contribute to maintaining accurate financial records, managing vendor relationships, and supporting operational processes.
This is predominantly a remote position, but occasional in-person support at our San Carlos, CA location (less than 10% of the role) is required for inventory management and shipping/receiving tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
- Support the Controller in maintaining accurate and timely financial records.
- Process invoices, receipts, and expense reports promptly and accurately.
- Assist in tracking accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments.
- Help manage and maintain the company’s business insurance documentation.
Operations & Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate inventory records; coordinate shipping and receiving at the San Carlos facility.
- Ensure software licenses, vendor records, and documentation are organized and up to date.
- Streamline administrative workflows and contribute to process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency.
- Actively manage our billing and CRM software insuring smooth billing procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or administrative operations.
- Associates Degree or higher required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Google Workspace (G Suite); ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Comfortable working across time zones with global teams.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs when handling inventory or shipping tasks.
