Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Field Supervisor to oversee and manage maintenance operations for multi-family and commercial properties. This hybrid role is based in Philadelphia, PA, with partial remote work flexibility.
The Maintenance Field Supervisor will lead maintenance staff, schedule and prioritize repairs, ensure properties meet safety and compliance standards, coordinate with vendors, perform inspections, and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities. This role also requires effective communication with property management, tenants, and contractors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to supervise and coordinate a team of maintenance professionals.
- Proficiency in property maintenance tasks, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical repairs, and general building upkeep.
- Experience in vendor management, scheduling, and project coordination to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance solutions.
- Knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and compliance requirements in property management.
- Ability to maintain clear and professional communication with property management, tenants, and contractors.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills for documenting maintenance activities and managing records accurately.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and basic computer applications.
- Previous experience in a maintenance supervisory role, particularly in property management or real estate, is strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications in relevant maintenance fields (e.g., HVAC, electrical) are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
Pay: $30.65 - $36.00 per hour
