What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Solutions Manager position at Cloud Coach?
Technical Solutions Manager (TSM)
Remote or Fort Collins, CO | Reports to Director of Professional Services
About Cloud Coach
Cloud Coach is a Salesforce-native Professional Services Automation (PSA) platform built for teams that deliver onboarding, projects, and ongoing services. Our software helps services organizations run delivery operations with less admin, clearer visibility, and better execution.
In 2025, we completed our first acquisition of JustOn, a German billing automation company, creating a 60 person global organization that combines project management with financial automation capabilities.
Trusted by customers across multiple industries and regions, we're looking for team members who are excited to build relationships, drive value, and create meaningful outcomes as we scale.
The Role
We’re hiring a Technical Solutions Manager to join our Professional Services team as we grow our bench of builders. The TSM is the hands-on engine of PS: you configure and execute projects end to end — standing up onboarding implementations, delivering retainer work, and translating client requirements into working solutions on the platform. You own what gets built inside each engagement and the technical quality of the delivered result.
This is a build-first role for someone who’d rather be inside the configuration than advising from the outside. You’ll work alongside our Product Solutions Manager and the wider PS team, feeding real client patterns into what Cloud Coach productizes next.
What You’ll Do
Implementation & Configuration
- Configure and build solutions within client engagements: platform setup, workflow configuration, and customization requirements.
- Execute onboarding implementations and ongoing retainer projects against the scope and timeline set in collaboration with the client and PMO.
- Perform data migration, integration, and technical troubleshooting across a customer’s connected systems.
- Translate client business requirements into technical designs and configured outcomes.
Client Enablement & Technical Quality
- Able to deliver client enablement training, documentation, and handover so customers can operate what was built.
- Own technical QA and change implementation within engagements.
- Track time accurately against projects and retainers in the PSA platform to drive billing and utilization data.
Continuous Improvement
- Surface reusable patterns and feedback to the Product Solutions Manager for potential productization.
What You Bring
Required
- 3 years of hands-on configuration/implementation experience with Salesforce and a PSA or SaaS platform preferred.
- Strong technical problem-solving across data, integrations, and workflow automation.
- Ability to translate between business needs and technical execution.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification required.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I (PDI) Certification required.
Preferred
- Agentforce Specialist Certification preferred.
- Additional Salesforce certifications (Platform App Builder or a Consultant-track credential) are a strong plus.
- Client-facing delivery and enablement experience
What Success Looks Like
- Engagements configured and delivered to spec with high client satisfaction (CSAT).
- Low rework and defect rates; clean technical QA.
- Accurate time capture and on-scope delivery feeding healthy utilization.
Why This Role
- Own the build: you’re the one turning client requirements into working Salesforce solutions, not just advising on them.
- AI-forward team: Cloud Coach is investing deeply in AI-powered delivery, and the patterns you surface feed directly into what gets productized next.
- Tight team, real customers: ~30 people company-wide — small enough that your work is visible, established enough to have a real book of clients.
- Growth path: strong technical delivery here is a direct feeder into Product Solutions Manager and future PS leadership roles.
What We Bring (Compensation, Perks, Benefits):
- Base Salary Range: $80,000–$87,000 with eligibility for quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
- Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits
- Monthly Health and Wellness Stipend
- Flexible PTO
- Hybrid work environment with ability to work on-site in Fort Collins, Colorado or fully remote
- 401(k) matching up to $3,500 annually
