Duties:
- Work closely with the manager, technical team members and other project stakeholders to provide guidance throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Use Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 or higher and write code using MVC Architecture, .Net Core, JavaScript, CI/CD, Ajax, HTML, XML and APIs.
- Prepare scripts to create and modify existing Oracle tables, create indexes, constraints, triggers, views, etc., code stored procedures and packages, convert and migrate data when necessary.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports.
- Mentor and assist other programmers, providing guidance for debugging, troubleshooting, securing and deploying applications, data access, data communications and system architecture configurations.
- Use a source code repository, such as GitLab for checking source code in and out, and branching off new versions of the source code.
- Work within the IT Service Management System to take in incidents and service requests for the application, as well as request services from other IT groups. Diagnose and debug production issues reported via ITSM. Escalate critical calls as necessary and join bridge calls to assist in diagnosis.
- 6 years of experience developing applications with MVC 5 or later versions.
- 6 years of experience with development of secure .Net web-services using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), REST Services (Web API), message processing and Enterprise Service Bus.
- 7 years of experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to develop complex n-tier web applications using .NET/ .NET Core framework as well as experience developing and maintaining web applications that utilize modern client-side technologies such as HTML5, AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap and Cascading Style Sheets
- 7 years of experience with Oracle Database: Database design and modeling, PL/SQL coding and debugging, stored procedures, packages, constraints, indexes, triggers, creating tables, etc., including the use of a tool to write and test SQL code and manipulate data.
- 7 years of experience interpreting and analyzing business requirements and building the logic within an application's code to meet those requirements.
- 2 years of experience developing applications that follow Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0
- 4 years of experience developing reports with Crystal Reports version 10 or above and invoking them from .NET applications.
- 3 years of experience with GitLab including CI/CD for source code management.
- 3 years of experience coding and maintaining applications which contain Health Care data that fall under HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI).
