What we offer: Salaried position Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm (overtime available if needed) Tuition assistance Opportunities for advancement A comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, vision, company-paid life insurance, 401k plan with company match Paid vacation, holidays and ongoing training Voluntary coverages: Pet insurance, ID theft protection & more A strong manufacturing culture where achievements are recognized and celebrated What you'll do: Daily invoicing of closure shipments and creation of manual invoices for scrap and misc. shipments Review production work orders; research and correct inventory discrepancies and reporting issues Close production orders and process production reports in ERP (E1) Assist with monthly inventory, including reconciliation of WIP and raw materials Maintain month-end close, including journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, and financial reporting Ensure accurate accounts payable coding and PO processing Verify documentation, obtain required approvals, and enter invoices for payment Analyze account variances to identify trends and improve reporting accuracy Assist with forecasting and budgeting processes to provide timely financial projections What you'll need to have: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in manufacturing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and account analysis Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Effective interpersonal and written communication abilities Who we are: Global Fortune 500 packaging company with 109 manufacturing facilities in North & South America, Europe, and Asia Supplier of sustainable metal and plastic packaging for food, beverage, healthcare, garden, home, and personal care industries A stable, reliable, and environmentally responsible company focused on innovation and continuous improvement LIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMER The above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; it is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required for the position.
