We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating our CNC machinery to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machine operation, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced factory environment. The CNC Operator will work closely with production teams to ensure efficient and accurate machining operations.
- Key Responsibilities (What You'll Be Doing)
- Advanced Machine Operation: Operate, and optimize the Homag V200 CNC for high-quality production of [mention product type/material].
- Program & Data Management: Scan part barcodes to accurately load the correct program into the machine control.
- WoodWOP Modification: Utilize WoodWOP software to make necessary edits, offsets, and adjustments to existing programs for optimization or non-standard parts.
- Tooling & Setup: Execute precise tool changes, load new tool lists, and set/verify tool offsets.
- Machine Maintenance: Perform essential daily tasks, including thorough machine cleaning, lubricating, and basic troubleshooting to ensure peak performance.
- Quality Control: Rigorously inspect parts using blueprints and measuring instruments to maintain tight tolerances and zero defects.
