What You'll Do
As a Cabinet Maker & Installer, you will help create and install our custom storage systems while ensuring every finished project meets Closet Factory's high standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Assemble and install custom cabinetry, closets, shelving and storage systems.
- Complete projects from beginning to end with precision and attention to detail.
- Read and interpret installation instructions, drawings and project specifications.
- Properly measure, fit, mount and adjust cabinetry and components at the job site.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Diagnose and resolve installation challenges as they arise.
- Carefully transport and handle cabinetry, materials, tools and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and job site.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure the client is satisfied with the completed project.
- Follow company quality standards and safety procedures.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Previous experience in cabinetry, carpentry, woodworking, construction or installation.
- Experience installing custom closets, cabinetry or storage systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of or experience with the 32-millimeter cabinet system is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to read measurements, plans, drawings and installation instructions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A positive, professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for installation work.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Availability to work occasional Saturdays as needed.
