Inside Sales Associate Position Overview
We are looking for an Inside Sales Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting customers with product selection, providing material quotes, answering product and project questions, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
● Sell lumber, hardware, building materials, and related products to customers.
● Prepare accurate material quotes and estimates using various quoting tools.
● Answer customer questions and provide product knowledge and recommendations.
● Assist customers with project planning and material selections.
● Utilize point-of-sale systems, computers, and other software to process sales and quotes.
● Maintain product knowledge and stay current on building materials and industry products.
● Assist with stocking, organizing, and maintaining products throughout the store.
● Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
● Provide a friendly, professional, and helpful customer experience.
Qualifications
● Previous experience in the building materials or construction industry is strongly preferred.
● Strong customer service and communication skills.
● Comfortable using computers, point-of-sale systems, and various quoting software.
● Strong attention to detail and accuracy when preparing quotes.
● Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
● Knowledge of lumber and building materials is preferred.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
