Summary
- Purpose: Under the direction of the Supervisor, Inventory Control / Project Management and with assistance from the Materials group, provide assistance in daily administration tasks.
- Dimensions: This position will have frequent interface with other Plant personnel.
- Responsibilities/Principal Duties:
- Enter daily purchase orders and/or releases as directed by the buyers.
- Process requisitions as entered by other plant personnel.
- Pull usage data for buyers as needed for quotes or inventory analysis.
- Follow-up on orders to expedite delivery and shipment when required.
- Obtain certifications of delivery and shipment when required.
- Check and approve for payment invoices for orders placed when required.
- Develop and maintain necessary records and files for efficient operation.
- Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's degree in business administration (or equivalent).
- Experience: 0-2 years related experience. Basic accounting skills.
- Skills: Strong Microsoft Office experience, Excel, and Power BI.
- Communication: Experience in both verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
