Clopay is hosting open interviews Saturday, July 11th from 9a.m. to 1p.m. at their Troy, Ohio manufacturing facility. Located at 1400 W. Market Street, Troy Ohio 45373.

We will be hiring for 2nd and 3 shift production assemblers, machine operators, carpenters, and material handlers. Stop by, interview, and get hired on the spot!

Production assemblers starting pay is $19.40 plus $1.00 shift differential.

Wage increases up to $26.61 after 24 months.

Shift Schedule

2nd shift - Monday through Friday - 3p.m. to 11p.m.

3rd shift - Sunday through Thursday - 11p.m. to 7a.m.

Requirements; Qualified candidates

• Must be able to lift 30 - 50 lbs, and have the ability to work at a quick pace.
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Must be 18 years old or older and hold a high school diploma or GED.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Assemble garage doors using various hand tools, power tools, and operating equipment, in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Apply appropriate identifying labels to doors and/or boxes, where required.
• Visually inspect parts for defects; replace parts that don’t meet quality specifications.
• Monitor supply of production materials available at work station; reorder as needed.
• Maintain accurate and neat daily production reports.
  
  

Skills And Abilities

• Basic knowledge of hardware required for various door models.
• Ability to read and write a limited number of words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers.
• Ability to count and perform simple math operations to determine information such as weight, temperature, and quantity.
• Must be able to perform lockout tagout.
• Ability to meet production and quality standards.
• Ability to work harmoniously and effectively as part of a work team.
