Job Summary: As a Car Salesman at Cloninger Ford of Morganton, you will play a pivotal role in helping customers find the perfect vehicle. You will provide exceptional customer service, demonstrate vehicles, and close sales while fostering long-term relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, understanding their needs and preferences.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of the dealership’s inventory, including specifications, features, and benefits of each vehicle.
• Sales Process: Guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to final paperwork, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
• Demonstrations: Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives, showcasing key features and advantages that meet customer needs.
• Negotiation: Negotiate prices and financing options, providing transparent information to customers while achieving dealership sales goals.
• Follow-Up: Proactively follow up with potential and existing customers to nurture relationships, address any concerns, and encourage repeat business.
• Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with finance, service, and other dealership departments to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in automotive sales or retail sales is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing customer needs.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
