What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospital Community Liaison position at Clipboard?
Why Clipboard Exists
We exist to lift as many people up the socioeconomic ladder as possible. We dramatically improve lives by letting professionals turn extra time and ambition into career growth and financial opportunity. We achieve this with our app-based marketplace that connects workplaces and professionals, allowing professionals to book on-demand shifts and workplaces to access on-demand talent.
About Clipboard
Clipboard is a fast-growing Series C marketplace. We are a leader in our Long Term Care vertical and are expanding into several others (Dental Offices, Schools, etc).
We are a YC Top Company with a global, remote team of 700 people. We have been profitable since 2022, and fill millions of shifts annually at partner workplaces across the US, where tens of thousands of professionals work with us every year.
We are looking for your help to keep growing so we can serve more professionals and workplaces.

About The Role
The Hospital Liaison builds trust, deepens relationships, and expands Clipboard’s presence within the local hospital community.
You’ll spend your days in person — visiting hospitals, grabbing coffee with nursing leaders, checking in with administrators, and being the familiar face they associate with Clipboard. Relationships here aren’t built through presentations or email threads — they’re built one conversation, one check-in, one act of service at a time.
This is a relationship-driven field role with accountability for growth. You’ll nurture existing hospital partners, strengthen Clipboard’s reputation locally, and identify new facilities that could benefit from our platform. Your success will be measured by the depth and breadth of your local relationships, the awareness you build, and the new opportunities those relationships create.
You don’t need to be a career salesperson — we’re looking for someone who feels at home in the hospital community. Ideally, that’s a former nurse, administrator, or healthcare professional who’s spent years building relationships across local facilities, knows the people who make things happen, and genuinely cares about helping their local healthcare system work better. Someone who understands how to listen, connect, and turn trust into long-term partnerships.
You Should Expect To
Commission eligibility and structure are performance-based and awarded to those actively driving new hospital partnerships and measurable growth.
Each candidate's compensation offer within this range will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, and geographic location.
Compensation Range: $60K - $110K
