What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Paraprofessional position at Clintonville Public Schools?
Overview
The Clintonville School District is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructional Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year. Instructional Paraprofessional assists teachers in the preparation of instructional materials and performing clerical work under the instruction of the teacher, as well as presenting various learning experiences to the students, and assisting classroom teachers with follow-up instructions and individual instruction.
Our school district offers a conveniently located daycare facility near our schools. This allows employees to be close to their children throughout the day, and helps make daily routines more manageable.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to students in various educational settings, including classroom activities, group work, and one-on-one instruction.
- Facilitate behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and engagement among students.
- Assist in the supervision of the playground and lunchroom.
Qualifications
- Two years post-secondary education preferred, but not required.
- Experience working with children ; ideally, in a classroom setting.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Confidentiality is a must.
