Anticipated ALE Paraprofessional Grades 6-8

Clinton School District is seeking a dedicated & compassionate paraprofessional to support the Alternative Learning Environment at the Junior High level. This position plays a vital role in helping students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs succeed in a structured, supportive setting. The ideal candidate is patient, flexible and committed to fostering a positive learning environment. Responsibilities include: Providing instructional support to students under the direction of the ALE teacher and program coordinator. Assist with individualized and small-group instruction in core academic areas and skill-building activities. Support students in meeting behavior goals, using de-escalation techniques and positive behavior interventions. Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment.
