What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional position at Clarendon School District?
Follow ABC Director's directives and procedures.
Instruct students at the ABC Preschool level subject matter specifically as assigned by the building director.
Essential Functions:
Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among the students for whom responsible. Follow district policy and building procedures associated with student management; consistently demonstrate proficient classroom management skills.
Maintain a cooperative relationship with other staff members.
Demonstrate a high individual rate of attendance in order to maximize student learning.
Follow all building procedures regarding attendance and punctuality keeping your ABC Director informed at all times.
Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives with students.
Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities.
CDA and Early Childhood experience preferred.
