What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Infrastructure Specialist position at Clinton Community School District?
SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring, management, and reliability of the
CCSD network and systems infrastructure. This position will maintain and configure all network-related
infrastructure devices such as switches, routers, access points, printers, smartboards and security devices. This position will also be responsible for administration of the CCSD Help Desk, including but not limited to; asset management, help desk level 2 support, and general supervision of incidents and service requests.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- *Monitoring, management, and reliability of the CCSD network and systems infrastructure.
- Maintenance and configuration of all network-related infrastructure devices, including but not limited to;
switches, routers, access points, security devices, windows updates.
- Management of Microsoft Azure/Intune
- Assist in running new cat6 wiring as needed around the district
- Assist in the administration of the CCSD Mobile Device Manager (MDM) solution for iOS.
- Maintain the wireless network and infrastructure.
- Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Administration of Google Workspace tenant.
- Assist contractors or 3rd party entities with technology-related building needs when necessary.
- Assist with the Chromebook Repair process
- Maintain password management software and ensure department passwords are up-to-date and contained in
the correct folders.
- Work with vendors to procure new software or hardware as assigned by the Director of Technology
- Assist in the maintenance and configuration of physical and virtual servers.
- Assist in maintenance and administration of Backup-related software solutions.
- *Assist in evaluation and adoption of new technologies.
- Assist the Director of Technology in the planning and implementation of network and systems infrastructure
Equipment.
- Serve as a project manager for IT-related projects as assigned by the Director of Technology.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- * Minimum of a 2-year degree in a technology-related field and at least 3 years full-time experience and
education to meet the minimum qualifications.
- *Classlink support knowledge
- *Management of Azure/Intune
- Experience with installing and maintaining Cisco network-related infrastructure devices
- *Working Windows Server knowledge

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 month position
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
