Summary:
Seeking a Scientist or Senior Scientist to join an Assay Development team supporting discovery and preclinical programs. The position involves immunology-focused cell-based assay development and preclinical sample analysis, working closely with cross-functional research teams to advance program timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute immunology-focused cell-based assays, including PBMC, T cell activation, and complement assays.
- Conduct ELISA and MSD-based assays to support sample and program characterization.
- Process and analyze preclinical samples to generate high-quality data for research programs.
- Drive assay development, optimization, and troubleshooting to improve experimental outcomes.
- Document experiments, methods, and results with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in discovery, translational, and preclinical research.
- Adapt to evolving program needs and maintain productivity in a fast-paced, bench-focused environment.
- Contribute to the overall success of preclinical and discovery projects through consistent, high-quality laboratory execution.
Qualifications:
- PhD with 1 year of relevant industry experience, or MS with 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Hands-on experience with immunology cell-based assays, including PBMC, T cell activation, and complement assays.
- Proficiency with ELISA and MSD assay platforms.
- Experience with preclinical sample processing and analysis preferred.
- Flow cytometry experience is a plus.
- Prior experience in a biotech startup environment is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced laboratory setting.
Salary : $50 - $60
