Foster Care Supervisor

Clinity Talent is currently partnering with a well-established nonprofit organization seeking an experienced Recruitment Specialist Supervisor to join its Family Foster Care and Family Support Services program.

The Recruitment Specialist Supervisor will oversee a team of Recertification Caseworkers and Homefinders, ensuring foster homes are properly licensed, recertified, and supported in accordance with state and agency regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to Recertification Caseworkers and Homefinders.
• Oversee the timely licensing, approval, and annual recertification of foster and kinship homes.
• Ensure foster homes meet all required standards and comply with OCFS and ACS regulations.
• Develop and maintain tracking systems to monitor licensing deadlines, recertifications, and home approvals.
• Review and ensure accurate documentation and data entry within Connections/FAD, Binti, and MyEvolv systems.
• Work closely with foster families, kinship caregivers, and internal teams to address concerns and support successful placements.
• Participate in family team meetings, case reviews, and administrative meetings as needed.
• Monitor staff performance, provide ongoing supervision, and complete performance evaluations.
• Prepare monthly and annual reports to track program performance, compliance, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with program leadership to improve processes and ensure timely completion of required documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience OR 5 years of experience in child welfare required.
• Experience in foster care, kinship care, foster home licensing, recertification, or homefinding strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Excellent writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn agency databases.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
• Flexibility with scheduling as needed.
• Valid New York State driver's license preferred.
