CSO is looking for a Clinic Director for our CBHC Clinic in Leominster. 

This position will provide clinical and administrative leadership for the Outpatient CBHC programs, including all Outpatient services, Medication Clinic, and any related contract services; oversee day-to-day operations, fiscal management, and program planning, development and evaluation.

Starting salary: $78,000-$85,000/year

As a Clinic Director:

You Will:

  • Supervise day-to-day program operations
  • Provide administrative and clinical supervision for all clinical staff, including weekly monitoring and management of productivity levels
  • Monitor staff scheduling and clinical caseloads to maintain quality service to consumers, while maintaining expected productivity levels and including appropriate and efficient use of office space
  • Develop and implement management systems that maximize staff productivity and efficient service delivery
  • Participate in ongoing meetings with DCF, DMH, local school personnel, other providers, community coalitions, etc. to develop and maintain positive working relationships and to maintain effective service delivery
  • Ensure integration of mental health and addiction treatment services
  • Ensure that evaluation and outcomes measures are consistently performed and evaluated, including consumer satisfactions, etc.
  • Oversee and coordinate the intake and referral process and the scheduling of psychiatric providers
  • Participate in the Multi-disciplinary Review Team and coordinate the activities of the utilization review process
  • Provide probationary and annual staff performance evaluations
  • Participate in regular management meetings as a member of the agency's Management team; meet regularly with the Vice President of Outpatient Services for supervision
  • Identify in-service training needs and arrange for them to be met, in coordination with the Vice President of Outpatient Services
  • Monitor budget and ensure monthly target productivity is met. Work with supervisor monthly to evaluate necessary staffing patterns
  • Participate in budget planning process; review finance reports monthly with supervisor; participate in quarterly budget review meetings with Executive Team and make recommendations to ensure programs are meeting budget expectations
  • Monitor compliance with requirements of managed care companies and other payers.
  • Participate in agency-wide Quality Improvement Plan, including active development and implementation of program specific Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement goals
  • Monitor contractual obligations and ensure that programmatic and fiscal obligations are being met
  • Participate in recruitment, hiring, and training of program staff, in coordination with supervisor. Make disciplinary/corrective action personnel recommendations to supervisor, and follow through on any approved corrective action plans with staff
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations of state and federal agencies, including DPH, DMH, DCF, etc., including maintenance of licensing of Outpatient sites and preparation and response to related site visits and Corrective Action Plans
  • Schedule and facilitate staff/team meetings, at minimum once per month
  • Consult and collaborate with Human Resources as needed regarding any and all Union-related issues, including disciplinary action and employee/labor relations; participate in contract negotiations and implementation with the Executive Team, as required

Your Background:

  • Clinical Master's degree or Doctorate with five years' experience in treatment of children, adolescents, adults, and families, mental illness, and the developmentally disabled
  • Massachusetts independent mental health clinical licensure
  • Extensive knowledge of Outpatient programs
  • Three years of supervisory and management experience, including fiscal management (monitoring of state contracts and commercial insurances and monitoring of program budgets) and supervising staff
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
