Compliance Operations Specialist

Our client is looking to fille the role of Compliance Operations Specialist. This position will be hybrid and based out the Plainsboro, NJ office.

Responsibilities:


Expense Management & Compliance

• Conduct comprehensive audits of employee expense reports across all North American business entities
• Verify adherence to corporate Travel & Expense (T&E) policies and procedures
• Process expense report approvals and releases for payment while maintaining strict compliance standards
  
  
  

Business Partnership & Support

• Serve as primary T&E liaison for Clinical Business teams throughout the organization
• Address inquiries and provide guidance on expense reporting processes, travel planning, and corporate card programs
• Deliver expert support for Concur expense management system and American Express corporate card platform
  
  
  

System Administration & Data Management

• Maintain and enhance the Concur expense reporting platform through regular updates and system improvements
• Oversee master data integrity within Concur, ensuring synchronization with HR information systems
• Create and manage employee profiles during the onboarding process
  
  
  

Corporate Card Administration

• Coordinate distribution and administration of corporate T&E credit cards to eligible employees
• Assist purchasing card holders with monthly reconciliation processes and documentation review
  
  
  

Regulatory Compliance & Reporting

• Collaborate with Compliance teams to fulfill Sunshine Act reporting requirements and regulatory obligations
• Generate ad hoc reports and analyses to support regulatory compliance initiatives
  
  
  

Strategic Support & Process Improvement

• Provide ongoing recommendations to management regarding T&E policy updates based on evolving business travel requirements
• Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for T&E processes and systems
  
  
  

Required Qualifications:

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Life sciences or related field preferred
  
  
  

Professional Experience

• Previous experience with Concur expense management system and T&E operations preferred
• Pharmaceutical or life sciences industry background advantageous
• Financial support experience in clinical research environments a plus
• Knowledge of Sunshine Act regulations beneficial
