Program Manager - Cancer Services opportunity in East Texas. Step into a leadership role that blends advanced oncology operations with a rural, community feel environment where your impact is seen and celebrated every day! 🚀

The Oncology Operations Manager will join a mission-driven, patient-first cancer program at a respected East Texas hospital known for strong clinical outcomes, low infection rates, exceptional patient experience, and recent PR momentum that underscores clinical excellence and community trust.

The Program Manager of Cancer Services role sits within a growing oncology enterprise that supports active research collaborations, participation in clinical trials, continuous quality improvement, and modern analytics dashboards that track outcomes, throughput, and equity measures across the cancer continuum.

Within the Oncology unit, the Program Manager will help lead a dynamic radiation oncology service line offering advanced radiotherapy, image-guided treatments, and coordinated care pathways that reflect a truly radiation-focused approach while embracing a radiotherapy mindset that fits a rural, community feel culture built on access, compassion, and continuity of care.

The Oncology Operations Manager will oversee daily operations, accreditation readiness, quality and safety initiatives, and service line growth across medical oncology and radiotherapy, partnering closely with a Cancer Medical Director, experienced oncology nurses, radiation therapists, dosimetrists, physicists, pharmacists, social workers, case managers, and supportive care teams.

Reporting for the Program Manager typically aligns to a Service Line Executive or Administrative Director with matrixed collaboration to physician leadership, giving the Oncology Operations Manager strong sponsorship, clear goals, and the resources necessary to deliver timely scheduling, efficient patient flow, multidisciplinary tumor boards, standardized protocols, and a warm culture anchored by friendly nurses and a diverse, team-first clinical community.

Life in East Texas suits a person seeking balance. Expect beautiful piney woods, lakes and rivers for fishing and kayaking, vibrant music scenes and seasonal festivals, farm-to-table cuisine and legendary barbecue, family-friendly neighborhoods with reasonable commutes, competitive cost of living, a healthy job market, welcoming schools and colleges, accessible parks and trails, improving broadband and transportation links, nearby regional airports, and a lifestyle that prizes privacy, safety, and Southern hospitality.
