In this capacity, the Clinical Informatics Nurse collaborates closely with nursing leadership, physician champions, ancillary department leaders, Quality/Patient Safety, Clinical Education, and IT analysts, serving as a mentor to Super Users and project teams. While the Clinical Informatics Nurse does not initially oversee direct reports, the role leads multidisciplinary workgroups and change initiatives to achieve outcomes.
Embedded in a collaborative informatics team, the Clinical Informatics Nurse supports inpatient units, emergency services, and ambulatory clinics to ensure Epic workflows are efficient, intuitive, and compliant.
