Dental Assistant Job Profile

• Do you have experience in a fast-paced environment where you are on a tight schedule?
• Are you passionate about educating patients about oral health and giving back to your community through your dental skills?

• Have you been in an environment where you've had to ask questions and be the one giving answers?

What You Get to Do

• You will build relationship with the dentist to anticipate their needs and save time.
• You will be one step ahead of the dentist to pass them instruments for the procedure, having checked in beforehand to see if they need additional instruments.
• You will work with a team of 2-3 other assistants to help each other with tasks that keep on schedule, such as help clean the rooms, sterilize instruments, load the x-ray, do notes, and set up for the next patient.
• You get to help the patient learn about oral health care by showing them how to brush and floss, help them understand why it's important to follow up with cleanings and post-op care.
• You get to serve your community - you are here for the patients, and they are very grateful.
  
  

Compensation: Approximately $22.05 - $25.56 per hour. All individual pay rates are calculated based on the candidate's experience and internal equity.

• Extended Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA): $22.66 - $26.26 per hour.
  
  

What We Need to for this Job

• 1 year of dental experience.
• X-ray certification per state requirements (we can help you get it if you have 1-year chairside experience).
• Training on tooth anatomy, tooth numbers, procedures, and potential procedure complications.
• Extended Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) encouraged to apply.
