Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the general work activities per the direction of others to complete the assigned activities.
- Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment. Ensures tools, equipment, and materials are stored properly and securely.
- Support the mechanic, foreman, and/or superintendent to complete assigned projects.
- Transports and furnishes mechanics with materials, tools, and supplies.
- Protect the interests and legal rights of the Company during project execution.
- Effectively communicate with mechanic, foreman, and/or superintendent.
- Demonstrate a positive, customer-focused attitude for others to follow.
- Maintain a professional appearance by wearing appropriate attire.
- Demonstrate support for companywide initiatives regardless of opinion.
- Maintain appropriate company confidentiality at all times.
- Protect the assets of the Company and ethically uphold the highest standards of integrity in all situations.
- Cultivate and promote a safety culture.
- Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction, mechanical, or HVAC experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials and equipment.
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and construction environments.
- Willingness to learn and follow direction from supervisors and experienced technicians.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
