Duties
- Install commercial ductwork systems according to schematics, HVAC design plans, and industry standards
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure precise installation
- Collaborate with project managers and property maintenance teams to coordinate installation schedules and troubleshoot issues
- Use specialized mechanical tools and equipment to assemble and secure duct components
- Conduct system testing and inspections to verify proper airflow, sealing, and functionality of installed ductwork
- Maintain a clean work environment by adhering to safety protocols during installation
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or service technician roles with a focus on HVAC or ductwork installation
- Strong mechanical knowledge including familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing, refrigeration, and property maintenance
- Ability to operate hand tools and other mechanical devices safely and effectively
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read technical diagrams accurately
- Ability to work in various environments including outdoor sites and confined spaces while maintaining safety standards
- Mist be able to pass a background check
