We need an installer who can walk onto a job site, look at the layout, and execute a change-out or retrofit from start to finish with the skills to knock out light service calls and diagnostics when needed.
- The Job: Clean brazing, perfect PVC runs, organized wiring, and confident troubleshooting.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Experience: 2 years of residential installation experience, plus basic diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Reliability: You can work in various environments (attics, crawlspaces, heights) and show up when scheduled.
- Aptitude: You have a mechanical mindset and a "get it done right" attitude.
- Valid Driver’s License: You must have a clean enough driving record to be covered by our insurance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Install & Retrofit: Residential and light commercial systems (A/C units, furnaces, and refrigeration) according to design plans.
- Light Service & Diagnostics: Running occasional service calls, identifying system faults, handling basic repairs, and performing seasonal maintenance checkups.
- Quality Control: Troubleshooting mechanical issues and ensuring every install complies with local codes and safety standards.
- Customer Service: Explaining system operations to homeowners and maintaining a professional, clean job site.
- The Fundamentals: Reading schematics, brazing/welding components, and handling basic plumbing/electrical connections related to HVAC.
