- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems, handle cash and credit payments, and maintain cash handling procedures.
- Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions to enhance their automotive experience.
- Collaborate with team members to manage automotive parts management systems (CMMS) and ensure accurate record-keeping of sales and inventory data.
- Support vehicle maintenance and repair activities by providing mechanical troubleshooting advice and automotive diagnostics when needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety standards, organizational protocols, and retail math principles for pricing and stock management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales or dealership environments with a focus on automotive parts or accessories preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and vehicle maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customer bases.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (CMMS), POS software, Microsoft Office applications, and automotive repair tools.
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation, customer relationship building, and retail math to maximize sales opportunities.
