PURPOSE:
A vital member of the Executive Management team performs a wide variety of supervisory, clinical, and program-related duties to ensure provision of services for clients and families seen in the Clinic. This leadership position is responsible for the effectiveness and coordination of multiple outpatient clinical programs, projects and Clinic initiatives from early childhood through young adults. Participates in program development, professional activities, research and special projects, grant writing and management. Responsible for program decision-making as well as collaboration with other State and community agencies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential functions of this position, include, but are not limited to:

Provide leadership and strategic planning for the Agency and identify opportunities for departmental improvements to optimize outcomes

Provide clinical/ administrative supervision, personnel management, leadership in groups, specialized teams and agency committees

Establishing and managing staffing and case load productivity expectations for effective delivery of services
-
Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure program monitoring, sustainability, and achievement of financial goals
-
Interpreting policy to staff, handling personnel matters, processing requests for paid time off
-
Implementing and evaluating procedures and standards of job performance
-
Partner with Quality Management team on quality/ performance improvement initiatives and models of best practice. Identifies and recommends improvement opportunities.

Overseeing program expenditures and assisting in development of budgets
-
Collaborate with Research staff on program, Clinic outcomes/ impact
-
Communicate the direction, vision and values of the Agency
-
Actively participate, plan, and/or lead agency meetings
-
Maintain current knowledge of governmental regulations, contractual issues and third- party payor requirements to assure departmental compliance
-
Ensure coverage is provided for all positions within the programs to respond to crisis situations
-
Providing appropriate in-service training to staff and others as needed
-
Overseeing the maintenance, and authorizing the release, of confidential clinical records
-
Functioning as liaison between Clinic and community agencies, schools, community resources
-
Compiling and submitting required state and agency reports, statistical summaries in a timely and prescribed fashion

Performing related and appropriate duties as directed
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Licensed Behavioral Health Professional with a minimum of 8 years’ experience successfully leading and directing the work of others
