Service Sales Representative -Houston

Clifford Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Service Sales Representative. Clifford Power Systems, Inc. is a privately held corporation with a core focus on generator sales, service, and rental, with ten office locations throughout a five state region consisting of Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas.

Position Purpose:

The primary responsibility of the Service Sales Representative is to develop new business in the assigned Territory and both maintain and improve relationships with existing and potential service customers. This position is also responsible for following up with customers throughout the selling process, assisting customers with documentation, assisting in formulation of marketing plans for the branch as well as providing weekly contact and quote reports as requested.

Essential Job Functions:

Sales/Product Portfolio

• Planned Maintenance (PM) Agreements
• Load bank testing
• Quoted repair work (fuel services and service time/material repairs)
• Extended Warranties

Additional Job Duties include but are not limited to:

• Maximize Customer-Facing selling time
• Build customer relationships
• Sales opportunity detection
• Close profitable orders
• Achieve assigned sales quota
• Produce year-over-year sales growth
• Reporting & data entry: Customer Relationship Management (CRM) & Sales Forecasting
• Overnight Travel

Education:

High School Education or equivalent 

Bachelors Degree

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in the emergency power generation industry
• Basic knowledge of diesel and natural gas engine generators or electrical knowledge is a strong plus.

• Proven track record of closing sales and obtaining new business
• Strong relationship maintenance

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Clifford Power Systems, Inc. offers competitive compensation and benefits including medical, dental & vision insurance, 401(k), paid vacation, and paid holidays. The Compensation Plan for this position includes a base salary plus commission with no earnings limitations. A car and phone allowance are also provided.
