Driver

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the safe operations and transport of Guests in CCCH vehicles in accordance with established policies, procedures, specifications, and standards.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to:

• Conducts pre-trip inspections of vehicle(s).
• Transports Guests and Team Members to/from Casino/Hotel while delivering the highest levels of service in a professional and personable manner.
• Prepare accurate and thorough recordings of operations.
• Keeps the vehicle clean and neat and reports any mechanical or other issues to the Supervisor.
• Maintain open communication with department leaders via 2-way radio &/or hands-free cell phone.
• Maintains current knowledge of CCCH property, amenities, services, special events, and promotions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Opportunities for Internships, Apprenticeships, and Coordinated Work Study programs may be available in lieu of formal education and work experience requirements for this position for enrolled members of the Yavapai-Apache Nation.

1. Required Education: N/A   Preferred Education: HS DIPLOMA
2. Work Experience:

1. Previous experience as a commercial driver, preferred.

1. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
   1. Must have excellent communication (verbal) skills, be personable, and able to de-escalate tense situations.  Must be fluent in English. Fluency in other languages, a plus.
   2. Must be detail oriented and observant.
   3. Must be able to read and comprehend detailed instruction manuals, safety rules, procedural manuals, and maintenance instructions.
2. Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements:
   1. Valid CPR/First Aid certification required within 6-months of hire.
   2. Must have a valid driver’s license with a clear record satisfactory to our insurance carrier.
3. Must be 18 years old and be available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
4. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a drug test and background check for an AZ Gaming License.
5. Must adhere to all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
6. Must be committed to providing exceptional guest service through a welcoming, friendly, and professional environment. Aim to exceed guest expectations with attentive, personalized service and prompt responses and resolution.
