What are the responsibilities and job description for the Count Attendant position at CLIFF CASTLE CASINO HOTEL?
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for all aspects of the drop and count processes for Table Games and gaming machines ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations of the Gaming Commission, Federal and State laws governing monetary transactions, and company policies, procedures, and controls.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of equipment used in counting coins and currency.
- Remove bill validator cans from slot machines and replace them with empty bill validator cans and put cans into carts.
- Transport all money into the Count Room.
- Count, verify, and strap all currency.
- Transfer all currency and chips into the Vault.
- In all operations, ensure the integrity of all Count transactions to include accuracy and thoroughness of operations and applicable paperwork.
- Keep Count Supervisor informed of all pertinent information regarding count activities and any irregularities.
- Develop a working knowledge of equipment, software and hardware necessary to perform count team duties within 90 days.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Opportunities for Internships, Apprenticeships, and Coordinated Work Study programs may be available in lieu of formal education and work experience requirements for this position for enrolled members of the Yavapai-Apache Nation.

- Must be able to operate a 10-key adding machine efficiently and accurately.
- Must be able to perform basic math computations accurately.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
- Must pass any applicable tests.
- Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements:
- Must be 18 years old and be available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a drug test and background check for an AZ Gaming License.
- Must adhere to all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
