Beverage Server

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to all Casino Guests in accordance with CCCH & departmental standards. Position requires working in an environment where smoking is permitted. Must be comfortable with exposure to smoke while performing job duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to:

• Take and deliver beverage orders to guests in a prompt and courteous manner while maintaining a friendly and pleasant atmosphere
• Maintain knowledge of beverage menu, all products, and POS system.
• Continuously walk through the assigned section with beverage cart offering service and upselling according to department SOPs.
• Observe alcoholic beverage service rules according to Title 4 & department standards to prevent serving minors, over-serving, or serving intoxicated guests.
• Stock, replenish and clean beverage work areas, including self-serve station and picking up glassware on casino floor.
• Balance a cash bank and keep accurate records of sales transactions for end of shift report.
• Complete opening and closing side work duties in a timely manner.
• Maintain knowledge of all CCCH & department special events and promotions.
• Perform other duties as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Opportunities for Internships, Apprenticeships, and Coordinated Work Study programs may be available in lieu of formal education and work experience requirements for this position for enrolled members of the Yavapai-Apache Nation.

2. Work Experience:
   1. Have at least 6 months’ experience in beverage serving.
   2. Have at least 6 months’ experience in a cash money-handling position.
3. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
   1. Be personable, outgoing and able to deliver exceptional guest service.
   2. Be able to plan, be well organized, and possess a good memory for guests and beverage orders.
4. Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements:
   1. Must have or obtain valid Title 4 and Alcohol Awareness certification upon hire.
   2. Must have or obtain valid Food Handlers’ certification upon hire.
5. Must be 18 years old and be available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
6. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a drug test and background check for an AZ Gaming License.
7. Must adhere to all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
8. Must be committed to providing exceptional guest service through a welcoming, friendly, and professional environment. Aim to exceed guest expectations with attentive, personalized service and prompt responses and resolution.
