Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap for platform and internal systems initiatives across a complex software environment
- Partner closely with engineering and data teams to define platform capabilities, APIs, tooling, and system improvements
- Translate technical and operational needs into clear, structured product requirements and prioritized work
- Drive initiatives related to platform scalability, reliability, maintainability, and system performance
- Improve internal workflows, data flows, integrations, and operational efficiency across teams
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, operations, and leadership to align platform investments with business priorities
- Identify system dependencies, edge cases, and technical tradeoffs early in the development process
- Use data and performance signals to prioritize platform enhancements and measure impact
- Support long-term platform strategy while executing near-term improvements in a fast-moving environment
Qualifications
- 5 years of product management experience in software applications or technical product environments
- Strong experience working closely with engineering on technical products, platforms, APIs, or infrastructure-adjacent systems
- Proven ability to write detailed product requirements and translate complex workflows into clear, testable specifications
- Strong systems thinking and ability to understand dependencies, edge cases, and downstream impacts
- Experience with internal tools, platform products, data-heavy systems, or backend workflows
- Comfortable in smaller or fast-growing organizations where product leaders wear multiple hats
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

- SaaS or software platform product management
