ROLE: Special Access Program (SAP) Security Officer (SO)

REQUIRED:

  • Active Clearance: Top Secret (TS), SCI preferred (Immediate eligibility for SCI/SAP required)
  • Ability to work onsite at Shaw AFB, SC
  • Minimum of two (2) years working as a Special Access Program Security Officer

FUNCTION:

  • Plans, organizes, and assists in directing activities of the Advanced Programs Office, ensuring SAP security complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Serves as focal point for management of SAPs, SCI, and multiple security disciplines (information, personnel, physical, industrial, cybersecurity).
  • Develops, maintains, and submits program protection implementation plans.
  • Coordinates with DOD personnel to create secure environments for SAP information.
  • Develops and administers processes and procedures for SAP access, including reviewing DD Forms 254 for classification guidance.
  • Conducts facility security clearance surveys and periodic security inspections.
  • Administers procedures for processing SAP access requests, eligibility, and documentation.
  • Oversees indoctrination of personnel into SAPs, maintains electronic personnel information folders.
  • Manages adverse information reporting, SAP access databases, billet rosters, visit certifications, security training, and entry authority lists.
  • Develops and administers security education and training programs (SETA).
  • Monitors work assigned to subordinate organizations and employees, ensuring priorities and schedules are met

DESCRIPTION:
Constellation West is a 29-year WOSB and Prime Federal Contractor bidding on support work for a US Air Force attack wing at Shaw AFB, South Carolina.
