Integration Architect
We're seeking an experienced Integration Architect to lead enterprise API and integration strategy while helping modernize a cloud-based technology ecosystem. This role will drive integration standards, API governance, and event-driven architecture across the organization while partnering with engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute enterprise integration and API strategy
- Design scalable API, microservices, and event-driven architectures
- Establish integration standards, governance, and best practices
- Partner with engineering teams to modernize integration platforms
- Lead API lifecycle management, observability, and developer enablement
- Mentor architects and engineers on modern integration patterns
Qualifications
- 7 years of software engineering or architecture experience
- Expertise with REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture
- Strong AWS cloud experience
- Experience with API management, integration patterns, and distributed systems
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred), and cloud-native deployments
- Strong understanding of API security (OAuth, JWT, OpenAPI)
- Experience with platforms such as MuleSoft or similar is a plus
