About the Role
We’re looking for a charismatic, reliable, and sales-driven Livestream Host to grow our presence and revenue on Whatnot. You’ll be the face of our live selling channel — engaging customers, showcasing products, running auctions, driving excitement, and building a community that returns show after show.
This isn’t just “going live.” It’s about building an audience, creating energy, and turning viewers into loyal customers.

What You’ll Do
Host and Sell Live on Whatnot
- Host scheduled live selling streams on our Whatnot account
- Present products confidently, explain features, and drive urgency
- Run auctions, bundle deals, and promotions during live shows
- Keep the pace exciting while maintaining clear and accurate product details
Engage and Build a Community
- Interact with viewers in real time — answer questions and shout out bidders
- Encourage follows, bookmarks, and repeat attendance
- Create a fun, welcoming vibe that builds customer loyalty
- Help convert buyers into repeat customers through strong customer interaction
Merchandising & Show Prep
- Work with our team to select featured products and plan show themes
- Prepare product lines, pricing, and promotional strategies ahead of streams
- Ensure show materials are organized and ready before going live
- Provide feedback on what sells, what doesn’t, and what customers respond to
Grow the Channel
- Help develop show formats that increase conversion and retention
- Review show performance and improve over time
- Support content posting, show announcements, and customer engagement between lives (optional but preferred)

Qualifications
Required
- Comfort speaking live on camera and engaging with viewers
- Strong customer interaction / communication skills
- Availability to livestream consistently (evenings/weekends often perform best)
- Basic tech confidence: you can navigate livestream tools and troubleshoot minor issues
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Experience with Whatnot, livestream selling, TikTok Live, Instagram Live, or Shopify Live
- Background in retail sales, ecommerce, auctions, or product demos
- Knowledge/interest in Electronics
Compensation
Base Pay Commission
Commission is tied directly to livestream sales performance (high performers can earn significantly more).
Bonuses available for hitting growth milestones (followers, sales goals, show consistency, etc.).
Successful host can earn upwards of 100k
