Purpose: The Admissions Recruiter performs duties to identify and recruit prospective students. The Admissions Recruiter will plan and participate in the implementation and recruitment of prospective students using marketing strategies and public relations skills, as well as counsel prospective students and parents regarding the admission process.
Student Support Services
Oversee the coordination and delivery of various support services, including counseling, health services, career development, academic advising, and disability accommodations, ensuring students receive timely and relevant assistance.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain university/college outreach in assigned target states with a focus on nurturing key relations with institutions through career services, university/college professors, student clubs, and health professions advisors.
- Set and meet and/or exceed presentation event plan as well as conversion and communication goals set by leadership.
- Develop meaningful relations with inquiries and applicants that will lead to increased application and matriculation goals.
- Collaborate with the Admissions Team and other staff to ensure quick, efficient, and effective follow-up of students’ applications, needs, and questions to improve conversion rates and provide high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Deliver frequent group presentations that lead to student inquiries and applications.
- Attend graduate and professional school fairs in assigned territory.
- Attend university/college events, including professional meetings, as needed or requested.
- Create a database of key university/college officials and maintain those relationships on an ongoing basis.
- Travel regularly to appropriately represent CUKC offsite, maintaining a full workload including all required reporting.
- Effectively and clearly communicate with inquiries and applicants as assigned via email, text, telephone calls, social media, and meetings with information on CUKC and additional educational sites, the admissions process, and the field of Chiropractic.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with all assigned inquiries and applicants, complementing automated processes and department communication plans.
- Review transcripts and advise prospective students on requirements to be considered for acceptance.
- Work with applicants to ensure timely process through the admissions process, including onboarding and transitioning needs.
- Update and maintain assigned records in CRM with communications and updated information received, paying close attention to data integrity.
- Assist with conducting campus tours for prospective students.
- Use appropriate materials, including approved PowerPoint presentations and marketing materials.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 2 – 3 years of experience in sales, campus recruitment, large group presentations, and/or college recruitment experience.
- Must possess excellent professional presentation skills and be comfortable presenting to small and large groups.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Teams and Zoom
- Must be able to work independently in a complex environment with a high level of accuracy, positivity, reliability, and collaboration.
- Must possess excellent skills in time management, organization, oral and written communication, analytical, problem-solving, team building, interpersonal, and customer service.
- Highly motivated and self-driven.
- Practice ethical, efficient, and effective budgeting and travel processes.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive communications with students, parents, employees, and external agencies.
- A valid driver’s license and safe driving record are required at the time of hire.
- Must be able to travel up to 85% of the time, including evenings and weekends. Required travel to the campus will be at the discretion of the Director of Admissions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Inside and outside sales experience
- Experience in the chiropractic office or chiropractic school • Experience utilizing Hubspot CRM software is strongly preferred.
