In This Role You Will
- Identify hazards and eliminating or coordination of mitigating hazards utilizing hierarchy of controls
- Make frequent tours of the worksite observing work processes and procedures while engaging employees, correcting safety deficiencies, and coaching
- Create daily safety reports documenting observations and noting any actions to be corrected
- Inspect and audit JSAs
- Perform monthly audit such as, Rigging Inspection, Fall Protection Inspection, Assured Grounding Inspection, Temporary Power GFCI Inspection, and ARC Flash PPE Inspection
- Produce weekly Toolbox Topics relevant to jobsite's activities
- Conduct orientations and training
- Handle accident and incident investigations
- Responsible for case management
- 5 years of industrial construction
- OSHA 500
- OSHA 510
- Knowledge of State and Local Codes, CFR 29, 1926, & NFPA 70E
- Ability to conduct incident investigations and determine root causes
- Proficient with computers, phones, and other office equipment
- Strong interpersonal, organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills
- Strong internal and external communication skills including verbal, written, presentation, and active listening
- A positive attitude! You have the ability to manage a team and properly train a team
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
