Purchasing Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Place purchase orders
- Enter all purchase orders into the computer system for electrical and mechanical groups
- Handle all problem invoices from payables for electrical group
- Distribution of completed purchase orders and packing lists of materials
- File all purchase orders
- Other tasks as assigned
- Perform general office duties such as making copies, filing documents, processing mail, and answering phones.
- Sort and distribute mail
- Act as back up to reception as needed
- Other tasks as assigned
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role and/or a college degree
- Purchasing or Construction experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Suite programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to speak with internal and external customers
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
