As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, your key responsibilities will include:
Patient Care Priorities
You will establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on factors such as:
- Acuity of need
- Patient preference
- Resource availability
Additionally, you will:
- Respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk
- Seek supervision, consultation and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently
- Document in patients' medical records
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures
